The entertainment world lost a legend when it was announced on May 11, 2020, that Jerry Stiller had passed away at the age of 92. Stiller was best known for his roles in the television series Seinfeld and King of Queens. His acting career started in the 1950s, around the same time that he met his wife, Anne Meara, who was also an actor. Living in New York City and acting together, the couple appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show an incredible 36 times.

They were married for 62 years, until Meara's death in May 2015, at the age of 85. The couple had two kids, including actor Ben Stiller, who invited his father to play roles in several of his films, including Zoolander and Shoeshine, for which Stiller was nominated for an Academy Award, in 1988.
