Question of the Day: What’s the Nicest Thing You’re Mom Ever Did For You?

Mother’s Day for us here in ‘Merikuh is coming up this Sunday. I know it’s supposed to be the day where we are all OMG MY MOM but the QOTD is usually about all of you and stuff so we are going to magically make Mom Day about you.

My mom and I have a weird relaysh. I think some of you know it and some of you don’t, and I don’t really want to get crazy into it because that would mean all my hours of therapy would come undone. The gist of it is is that my current mom, we’ll call her bio-mom (biological mom), didn’t really raise me. That whole debacle goes to this other sea serpent that I don’t really like because of reasons.

Anymews, bio-mom and I get along rather well, considering that we’ve only known each other for like 10 years or so. I’ve probably been a pretty whack son because I am in general a pretty horrible person to begin with. I see her every once in the while and we text a lot and she doesn’t give me any grief for being a gay vegan anti-christ man beast. That’s pretty cool.

She’s pretty much like a really good friend and it makes me feel weird to think that I fell out of her body a long time ago. She’s rad and I like her and her dog and her husband and other kids.

The nicest thing she’s done for me was help me when I was all falling apart and coming out of the hospital. I was a hot mess and she was totally there for me in like, the best way possible. Her and her husband got me a twin bed when I moved out of my BFs place and I think she gave me some grocery money. She’s amazing and I enjoy her face being around. I obviously wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for her and I am glad that I have her in my life even though I don’t really have the adult skills to voice my strong like of her.

On Sunday, my sister and I are going to make her dinner and I’ll probably get her drunk on moderately priced wine and it will be a good time.

So, I love, well, here:

What’s the nicest thing your mom’s ever done for you?
