Real Life Style Inspiration: Yöri Bjártsdóttir

I’d like to introduce you to the fabulous Yöri Bjártsdóttir! She has one of the most amazing styles I’ve seen and I’m so excited to share her awesomeness with you! Hailing all the way from Kopavogur, Iceland, she now resides in Los Angeles (which she calls the motherless city). Yöri and I met at LA’s Fashion Night Out and I was instantly enamored by her super cool fashion sense, impeccable style and all around attitude! We became instant friends!

It is nearly impossible to define her personal clothing style. She says if one day she wakes up and feels like a pineapple or a sea urchin, she simply dresses like a pineapple or a sea urchin. Yöri just throws on whatever is comfortable…she’s an amoeba. When she’s not shopping at second hand and online stores (eBay, Etsy, Pixiemarket), she’s lusting over Gareth Pugh, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and nature (which she describes as the best designer of all). She also mentions that her favorite pair of shoe’s are her prized flower covered doc martens (super cute)!

I am fully enamored by Yöri. She claims to be inspired by everything in the known universe (she thinks of it as a living, breathing organism that acts a meaning and a purpose, engulfing us all in a collective consciousness. One big happy family). Her favorite color is fluffy white and when she grows up she aspires to be the hero that Gotham deserves. Check out this amazing photo gallery of the pink haired beauty in all her wonder.
