Check out Shepard Fairey’s Cover for a TOP SECRET Comic Project
San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner. So I guess it makes sense that Alt Press choose today to leak a bit of proof that comics can be serious business. Or at least that they can attract serious business artists.
Apparently, acclaimed street artist Shepard Fairey has put together a cover for a top secret project to be released via Dark Horse comics. And it’s all kinds of awesome:
But wait, it gets better! Because from the sounds of things, Fairey will be working on this project with Tom Morello, legendary guitarist for Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave.
No word yet on what the art means or what’s going on with this project, but apparently Morello will be talking with AP Mag next week in order to reveal a little more.
