Justin Bieber Confirms Japan Tour Dates Despite Crew’s Refusal

Japan will still be getting their dose of Justin Bieber, despite reports that the singer was going to cancel due to radiation concerns.

Since the recent disaster in Japan, Justin’s tour crew was extremely wary of traveling to Japan for fear after the recent earthquake and tsunami sparked radiation concerns. Many of the crew members flat-out refused to go, saying it wasn’t safe to go, pointing out that Avril Lavigne and Slash had canceled their Japan concerts.

According to TMZ, Justin’s manager Scooter Braun exploded at the crew: “Man the f**k up and do the right thing by these kids.”

Scooter went on to rationalize that Justin didn’t want to disappoint the kids who had bought tickets, and that the Japanese government had given them the “all clear” that it was safe to play in Japan. And after all, Scooter noted, Maroon 5 is going full steam ahead with THEIR Japan shows.

Whether or not Justin was going to continue on with the Japan dates lingered for days, but the pop star took to Twitter yesterday and confirmed the good news:

“5 shows left of this leg of the #myworldtour! Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, Osaka and Tokyo! Like I said…we are going to JAPAN! #supportjapan.”

Konichiwa!

Does this make you like Justin Bieber a little bit more?

Or do you think going to Japan is a bad decision for Biebs and the crew?
