My Roommate Made Me Watch: Drumline
I dont know why ive never seen this film, but Dino made me watch it.
I had heard good things about it after it came out (you know, back in 2002),but I always assumed it would be kinda corny.
…And while it was a tad corny in some parts, Zoe Saldana makes the screen sizzle.
Mr. Mariah Carey Nick Cannon is perfect in the roll of the cocky boy from Harlem,and he does add comedic flare to the movie.
I loved the Band scenes, and of course, the drumline scenes.
The movie was predictable though. The sub-plots could have been better.
Besides all of that, its the marching bands that make the movie worthwhile.
I give ‘Drumline’ a B-
