Gabe Saporta Twitters: On Vocal Rest?

It turns out that Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta and keytarist Vicky-T have both jumped in on the Twitter craze. And so far, following Gabe’s updates has been both entertaining and informative.

(Yes, these are both real.  Victoria confirmed it in her Livejournal.)

Earlier today, Gabe Twittered that he was at the doctor’s.  His exact wording:

Gotta get an ultrasound of my tonsils to see why throats all fucked up (and no, its not from suckin too much cock)

And then?  He waited.  And he quoted Fugazi.

I am a patient boy. I wait I wait I wait I wait My time’s like water down the drain

Then, like so many of us ladies before him, got an ultrasound.

Just got an ultrasound of my thyroid and lymph nods. I wish I was preganant so they could’ve checked out the baby too

Oh, Gabe.  Keep the dream alive, Big Papa.  Keep the dream alive.  Medical Science is making strides each and every day.  You could eventually have a Cobra Baby, or Cobraby, of your very own.

Final verdict?

The doctor said I am on “official vocal rest.” Which means I can’t even speak to anyone. I wrote everyone an email to tell them the bad news…

…But they said, “are you kidding me, that’s the best news I’ve heard all year!” 🙁

Poor Gabe.  But if it’s any consolation, your fans at Buzznet wish for your speedy recovery.  Especially since you and your band are headed out on The Sassyback Tour with Forever the Sickest Kids, Hit the Lights and Sing It Loud.
