I have never seen Beirut live but let me tell you something. If you thought that they were rad in your headphones, they are even better live.
I can’t even begin to explain what was happening on stage with this group but JFC they were all that and a pickle in a bag. There was dancing, jumping, climbing on stuff, and their dancer friend was able to put her leg behind her head and I was kind of jealous.

When I was on my way to see another band at Outside Lands, this marching band was busy getting all hyphy in the field in front of the Sutro Stage. They pretty much had everyone dancing and super excited and they were pretty much the best thing ever. Praise the Loyd!
