When actress Connie Britton walked the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes, it wasn’t the cut, the color, or the designer that caught photographers’ attention. Britton wore long sleeves with a silver-stitched message on her sweater: “poverty is sexist.”
Designed by Lingua Franca, Britton wore the sweater to back the Time’s Up blackout many of the women participated in at the Golden Globes. Britton also supports One Campaign, which uses the phrase as one of their initiatives.
