Recording artist John Legend released his debut album “Get Lifted” in 2005 and hosted a 10th Anniversary shindig to celebrate his career and his 36th birthday in 2015. Legend partied with many famous faces- Kanye and Kim Kardashian West, Robert De Niro and many more were at Catch NYC to have fun.
The private party was only open to friends and family. At the party, Legend said he wasn’t sure if people were ready for his melodies from “Get Lifted” but he recalls Kanye standing on tables for music executives screaming, “he’s the next Stevie Wonder.” When your friend does that for you, he had better be on the invite list.
