THE DEMOLITION OF 123 ……… THE KINGS PARK PSYCHIATRIC CENTER
So today was the day for them to start the demolition of some of the buildings on the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center property. The first building to go is 123 it was built in 1915 so it’s nearly 100 years old. I got there at 4pm and they were still working on the demo. I took lots of photos and completely forgot about doing a short video and remembered when I was leaving. So I parked my car again and ran back to get a little on video. it’s not very good but that’s what happens when you don’t use your tri-pod !! I even had it with me but forgot to put the camera on it. It’s very sad to see this building finally coming down : (
