Question of the Day: There’s A Question Here, I Swear

I didn’t want to write what I am going to write anyway because it sounds kind of mean. I suppose that’s what I get for not being able to use my words properly and what not, so I apologize in advance. It’s not my fault, no one held me when I was a baby.

I bet that you didn’t know this was National Polka Month, did you? The internet told me this, so it has to be true.

Take it away, Schultze?

I wanted ask something like “What’s the weirdest music you’ve ever heard?” but that sounds mean-ish. I am not saying that Polka is weird or anything, it’s just not something that I grew up with so it’s different to me. I do, however, love me some Polka music because it’s super festive and they have a lot of songs about things that I love like “Beer Barrel Polka.” I really hope that I am not __insert social justice no no word here__ this style of music. Oh and then there’s this cover:

I’ve also been listening to a lot of Ljova & the Kontraband and their album Mnemosyne. It rocks pretty hard. Click the Mnemosyne link to give them a listen to. Enough bird walking. I should get back to asking you a question.

Music. This is a music post. This is a post about music that is different to you and that you may not understand but you like anyway. You know, like this:

You’ll know this song if you like Death Note.

So. What kind of music do you like that you:

  • Don’t have any cultural connection to?
  • Don’t normally listen to?
  • Don’t understand?

That is all that I have for today. Go forth and be awesome. Go listen to something new. Ta!
