I have been having the most intense dreams recently, the ones where you wake up in a strange mood and it lasts all day. Im not a fan. Fashion Week starts tomorrow and I have so many friends are flying into town for it, I think im almost more exicited about seeing them then anything else! A few of you have been asking but Im not showcasing this year, maybe next year if im ready. I never would do it until it was the right time. And by showcasing I don’t mean runway show! Im more focused on perfecting my products right now and making them the best they can be. That is my number one priority!

I was lucky enough to get the oppertunity to shoot a 6 page editorial and have a feature in an amazing overseas magazine! I am finishing up the interview and prep for the shoot this week, Im really exicited about it. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed between designing and owning two clothing lines, having a vintage store, blogging, modeling, covering events and now working on a diary photo book… I don’t even know what it’s like to not have a stack of papers on my desk of things that need to be done at all times!… and I think I love that.

Life is so short and we don’t exactly even know why we are here or when it will end. You HAVE to do what makes you happy & you HAVE to have fun doing it. If your stuck in a rut or a situation that makes you want to stay in bed all day, make a change right now! Start something new, meet new people, get new hobbies, do something for the first time, fail at things and learn from those mistakes! Even if you don’t know what you want to do or who you want to be you must ALWAYS be doing something. It will all fall into place as long as you let it I promise! …but doing nothing will get you nowhere.
