Lady Gaga’s Sister Makes Her Broadway Designer Debut

Lady Gaga is widely know for her powereful talent in the entertainment industry and bold sense of style — but it does not stop with her. It seems her genetic talent was also passed down to her younger sister, Natali Germanotta — aka Baby Gaga. The young aspiring designer has just signed on to create stage costumes for the new off-Broadway show, “Simon Says”.

The new show will star Tony-nominated Brian Murray and hits the Great Off-White Way this fall. The 19-year-old designer has been learning from her big sis and gaining spotlight experience. The rising fashion star was featured in Gaga’s music video “Telephone” featuring Beyonce and has even been Gaga’s plus one on award show carpets. Germanotta also had the opportunity to learn from Allison Parris as an intern during her fall 2010 show.

Parris said about her talent,

Natali has an edgier sense of style like her sister. Initially when she went to the Grammys a few years ago, she wore one of our little lace trapeze dresses, but she styled it up with leather and hardware. She is so nice and so easy to work with. She is such a great girl.”

Can’t wait to see what she designs for “Simon Says”.

Do you think Natalia will be able to make a name for herself in the fashion world without Gaga’s shadow?
