Don’t Judge A Girl By Her Clothes

Stopped by my friends party in the city the other night. I was so exhausted from the working all week I threw on an old tshirt and oversized beanie…. and apprently a broken necklace! My mind has been going a 100 mph about so many things. I need to step back and learn from people and not be so effected by their stupidity. I soak everything in like a sponge and it only hurts me in the end.
I can’t believe its the end of July already, where is the year going? My birthday is less then a week away and I have barley had time to stop and enjoy it! Im planning a two day trip to Santa Barbara for it and staying in a cute bed & breakfest right on the beach. I deserve it so why not! I have been craving a surfing trip really bad, maybe I will get lucky and squeeze it in. I leave for Hollywood in less the 48 hours. Once I touch down the amount of exciting videos, meetings, photoshoots, events and sample making that is going to take place is enough to someone exhausted just at the thought of it!
Im really happy out in NYC, I think the bicoastal thing was a good idea. Im the opposite of everything the “Hollywood” culture embodies. I don’t care to only be friends with celebrities, I don’t care what people look like, im not intrested in being at the hottest night club, your not going to find me at Koi blowing $100 on sushi four times a week. I don’t go shopping everyday on someone else’s money… Now don’t get me wrong, I have tons of amazing friends out in LA that are nothing like that. It’s just when you work in the industry I do you are thrown into the bullshit on a daily basis. All I want in life is to be succesful on my own terms and happy! .. Cause at the end of they day we are all going to the same place and are all made of the same energy. The only thing you can take with you are your morals, your knowledge, your memories and your love. Everything else is a distraction. Stay on track, love more complain less. Surround yourself with inspirational people, and don’t buy into the bullshit!
