Seeking Dreams……Chapter Severty-Seven
Jared then comes into the house and then goes up the stairs.
“Gab! Gabrielle! Come out here!” Jared then yells now pounding on the bedroom door.
No answer.
“Gab, don’t make me knock the door down” Jared then says.
The door suddenly unlocks.
Jared then walks in and sees Gabrielle sitting on the bed.
“I know. I’m a nut huh?” Gabrielle says as Jared sits down next to her.
“No, you just…. I donno” Jared says now hunch over.
“I think I need to see someone” Gabrielle then says.
“No, you just need a rest. I think you’re stressed beyond belief”
Gabrielle just sighs and then lies down on the bed.
“Listen, how about, um…. how about I treat you to the spa? Do you like that kind of stuff?” Jared then says.
“I donno. Never been to one. Well, besides waiting for my mom to come out. I treat her to one sometimes” Gabrielle says.
“Well, then how about it being your turn?”
“Um, I don’t know”
“Come on, I think there’s like different packages you can get. Lets go online and see what one you would like”
Jared then gets up and gets his laptop.
“Here’s one I think you would like. It’s a massage, manicure, pedicure, and a face mud treatment” Jared says now looking online.
“Um, I don’t like the massage idea. Not really into strange people touching me, especially like that” Gabrielle says now getting up and leaning on her shoulder.
“Well, how about just a manicure, pedicure and face treatment?”
“Hum, it actually sounds kinda nice”
“Cool, sometime today then?” Jared says now taking out his cell phone.
“No, I have to do stuff at the office today” Gabrielle says.
“Well, how about tomorrow then? You could probably get a half day or something if you ask”
“I guess so”
“Cool, then talk to your boss later and then call me so I can call an appointment for you”
Gabrielle smiles at that and then she leans over and gives Jared a kiss.
“I’m glad you think I’m not crazy. Maybe your right, maybe I’m under stress and stuff, I could use a break”
“There you go. And I’m sure it’ll do you good” Jared says now smiling.
