Daily Music Dose – Rosie Flores
This is one kitten that’s a real gas, man! She’s got all the Daddy-O’s tappin their bubble gum chucks in time while the dames with the gams get to cuttin a rug. I first heard of Rosie Flores (no relation, sadly) in some dingy bar in Bakersfield with some other rockabilly bands. There were like 5 people in the bar but we had a good time to some rockin tunes. She plays a lot of early rock n roll inspired by rockabilly, country, and honky tonk type stuff. She’s pretty accomplished and has toured more than Motorhead.
