true love with a pink flamingo

one of my favorite film directors is john waters. he was one of the first directors to really step out of the box & make something that would get people talking.. he was known for having male actors play female roles in his films.. from the original hair spray to pink flamingos.. every flick was an instant classic.

tonight i am going with my mom & brother on an epic night out. dinner at katsu ya followed by pee wee live at nokia theatre.. it’s going to be perfect.. sometimes the person you least expect ends up being the person who helps you the most in a time of need.. you find out who your true friends are in those situations.. these past few days have been full of ups & downs.. i am at a stable place in my life so i try to take everything with a grain of salt.. everything around you is happening for a reason.. i might not know the reason but i just have to trust it is all for the best.. i look at everything in life as a learning experience.. even if you get hurt by a situation, i am sure you got something out of it weather you want to believe it or not.. these situations make us who we are.. i believe in true love.. i believe there is someone out there for everyone.. don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.. in life you will meet your fair share of douche bags.. i know i have.. but thats ok.. eventually you will meet mr.right & all of those other people won’t matter.. you just have to have faith.. take a risk.. thats what life is all about, right?
