Seeking Dreams……Chapter Eight
“Well, I kinda…. well I kinda heard you and Emily talk back there in the market”
Jared finally says after a few minutes of trying to think what to say.
“Oh” Gabrielle says feeling her face turn red.
“Great, I’m screwed” she thinks to herself.
“Yeah. Now I’m not mad…. I’m curious on why you made up a story like that though”
“Yeahhhh…”
“So who’s Robert?”
Gabrielle then goes off into a spin on the whole tale, from when she and Robert first meant till since yesterday.
“And I know I shouldn’t have lied to you and I would in no way blame you for just dumping me cause I would sooo deserve it!” Gabrielle then finishes now bursting out into tears.
“Hey hey, did I say that I was?” Jared says now holding her and kissing her head to calm her.
“No, but if I were you I would!” she says between sobs.
“Then you and I are more different then I thought” Jared says laughing softly.
“I said I wasn’t mad at you, and you would know if I was…I’m not going to dump you over something that you were afraid of losing me over…. I just wish you would have told me anyway, that’s all” he says now pulling her back to look at her.
“Really?” she asks.
“Yes. I think I would have been easier on you if you did”
“Yeah, I guess your right, I just didn’t want to lose you, ya know, you thinking I want to go back to him and stuff”
“Your not never going to lose me Gab…I love you”
Gabrielle then nearly falls off the sofa.
“Really?!”
“Yeah, I gave a lot of thought, cause you know how I am about that, but I’m sure”
“Oh Jare!”
Gabrielle then fly’s into Jared’s arms.
“I love you too!” she says now holding him tight.
“That’s wonderful baby, but you cutting off my air” Jared says nearly chocking.
“Oops, sorry” Gabrielle says now letting go.
“Now, are we going to stop keeping things from me, even if they’re as bad as you think?” Jared then asks her.
“Defiantly” Gabrielle says smiling.
“Good” Jared says now kissing her.
The two then hear Shannon and Emily walk in.
“Hey guys” Emily says walking by while Shannon sits next to Jared and Gabrielle.
“Hey dude’s, what have you’ve been up to?” Gabrielle asks.
“Nothing much, just hanging out and talking” Shannon says.
And by the sudden smiles on both he and Emily’s faces, they too had the talk.
Tomo then comes in with two big pies of cheese pizza and everyone grabs a few slices and then they all sit and watch tv for a while….
A few hours later:
Gabrielle and Jared are in their bunk fast asleep.
Suddenly Gabrielle’s cell starts to ring.
She struggles to get out of Jared’s arms and then looks to see who’s calling.
“Oh no” She says shaking her head on disbelief when she sees the name.
