Seeking Dreams……Chapter Five
Gabrielle is now walking down the street in a very fast pace.
“Gab! Gabrielle wait!” Emily calls two steps behind her.
“How dare him! How dare he upset me like this!” Gabrielle says now storming across the street without even looking for cars.
“Oh I know this was going to happen!” Emily says now running across.
“Gabrielle stop!” Emily yells as her legs get tired of running.
Gabrielle finally listens and stops.
“I just want to get out of here! Out of this damn town!” Gabrielle says.
“Alright honey. Lets go back to the apartment and I’ll get plane tickets for tonight. You meanwhile just chill on the sofa or something” Emily says now taking Gabrielle’s arm and steering her back home.
“I have to call Jared, let him know I’m alright” Gabrielle then mutters once their in the apartment.
“Ok, you call Jare, I’ll call the airport. Uh, let me make some tea first” Emily says half talking to herself and Gabrielle.
“Ok” Gabrielle mutters now walking over to the sofa.
She fells so sick.
Sick with him.
Sick with herself.
She should have knew she would have gotten upset from this, why did she listen to her gut?!
She thought, as always, she would be strong.
But sometimes you just can’t be.
Gabrielle now sighs and then slowly takes out her cell phone and call’s Jared, hoping maybe hearing his voice well make her feel better.
“Hello?” Jared’s voice comes on the other line.
“Hey Jare, it’s me” Gabrielle says.
“Hey honey how are you?”
“Fine. You?”
“Good, just miss you”
“Yeah, I miss you too”
“Yeah. Don’t worry, you’ll be back tomorrow”
“Yeah, um, actually we’re getting tickets to be back tonight”
“Oh? Awesome! When are you coming in?”
“Um, I donno yet, M’s getting it set up now”
“Cool. Can’t wait till you get here”
“Me too”
“What’s the matter baby, you sound down”
“Nothing just tired”
“Is that all?”
“Yes”
“Mmm humm. So how did the interview go?”
“The interview? Um, good, waiting for a call back”
“Good. You guys will of course get it”
“Haha, of course”
“Yeah. Are you sure your alright?”
“Yes Jared I’m fine. I’m just tired and, I miss you”
“I miss you too. Why don’t you go lie down?”
“Yeah, good idea”
“I’ll call you in a hour or so, make sure now you sleep ok?”
“Ok”
“Ok then, sweet dreams”
The two then hang up.
“Um Gab, I got seats for an eight o’clock flight. That good?”
Emily says now walking in.
“Perfect” Gabrielle says now looking at the clock.
“So in about six hours. Let me call Jared” she says to herself now dialing.
“ Hey you, I thought you were supposed to be sleeping?” Jared says picking up.
“Haha yeah, but I’m just calling to say that M got us a flight back at eight” ”Ok, then you’ll be here by nine. We’ll be waiting for you when you guy land”
“Cool, thanks Jare”
“No prob. Now get some sleep!”
Gabrielle laughs at that then she hangs up with Jared and kinda dozes off.
Every now and then Emily goes in to check on her, like any other sister would do.
A few hours later:
The girls finally get on the plane and are now on their way back to the guys.
“I can’t wait to get back” Gabrielle says.
“Nether can I. But now we have to think up a story about the interview and crap. You know the second we get in their gonna ask” Emily says.
“Yeah well, we got an hour to think. So lets get cracking”
