Seeking Dreams……Chapter One
Gabrielle just got off the phone with Emily, her ears still ringing from her yelling.
“Everything ok?” Jared asks her when he gets out of the shower.
“Yeah, I just need to see M later” Gabrielle says now holding her head in her hands.
“Got a headache?” Jared then asks her.
“Like mad” Gabrielle reply’s.
Jared then gets her some pills and a glass of water.
“Thanks alot” Gabrielle says smiling and taking the pills.
“No prob” Jared says now kissing her.
After a few minutes Jared has to go off with the guys to get the new tour bus, while Gabrielle begins to pack.
An hour later the tension between her and Emily gets to her.
Gabrielle then just walks out of her room and goes over to Emily’s and pounds on the door.
“Emily open up, we need to talk”
The door then pop’s open slightly, making Gabrielle push it wide open.
“What do you want?” Emily asks her while packing her own things.
“I need to talk about what we talked about this morning” Gabrielle says.
“Why, there’s really nothing to talk about. Your going back to jackass while leaveing poor Jared heartbroken and alone”
“Did I say that?!”
“No, but your idea on going to meet up with him does”
“NO IT DOES NOT!”
Emily then steps back a little by Gabrielle’s out burst.
“Listen to me, I don’t know why you think I’m weak with Robert, that the minute he came back I’d run off to him. But you know what, you really have no clue on what I would do. The reason why I’m going to meet him is to say something that I didn’t get a chance to say to him before, goodbye. Right to his face”
Gabrielle then stops to take a breather, while Emily waits for the next out burst.
When she see’s Gabrielle’s done, Emily sighs and puts the shirt she was folding down.
“Look, I just know that Rob was the whole world to you. You were so out of it when he left, I was actually scared for your health, mind wise. I mean, why else did I take you and pay for those six weeks of therapy?” Emily then says.
“Oh, yeah” Gabrielle mutters.
“Forgot those days huh? I didn’t. I spent those days watching you drift away litttle by little and the nights holding you while you cried your heart out. And I was terrified that you we’re gonna off yourself or something….I only did for you sweetheart, and when you got better I thanked God for it. And now I kinda see, and fear, that it’s all gonna happen again, but this time Jared’s gonna get it as well” Emily says.
Gabrielle nods her head, then her eyes begin to fill up with tears.
At once Emily goes over to her and hugs her tight.
“I just don’t want to see you make the same mistake again honey, that’s all” Emily says.
“I know, thanks” Gabrielle says now pulling back to wipe her eyes.
“But I’m not going back to him, I just want to tell him plan and simple that this whole mess is over between us” she says now sitting on the bed.
“Good, that’s all you can say really” Emily agrees now packing again.
“So will you go with me?” Gabrielle asks.
“Of course I will, tomorrow right?” Emily says.
“Yes, we’ll be back by Sunday. But I need to tell Jared”
“Yeah, I gotta tell Shan, but lets just say it’s a work thing ok?”
“You bet”
The girls then get a text message from both Shannon and Jared saying to come downstairs to check out the new bus.
“Ready?” Emily asks Gabrielle as she fixes herself up.
“Yep” Gabrielle reply’s smiling.
Then the two head off.
