Into The Wild……

CHAPTER 22:

Sam’s Woods, 8:11 am:

Edward and Gabrielle then see Jessica and Dee walk out from behind a bush and walk up to them. “Aw how cute!” Jessica says laughing. Dee pokes Jessica in the elbow while laughing herself. “Thanks a lot guys. Why don’t you two go for a swim? The water’s just fine” Gabrielle says with poison in her tone. “Ha, with that tone I don’t think so” Dee says. “Ice cold right?” Jessica asks Edward. “Nah, it feels pretty nice really” Edward reply’s. Jessica and Dee then walk over to the edge of the water to see if it’s cold. “As I thought, ice cold” Jessica says putting her finger in the water. “What the hell Gab! Trying to get us sick?!” Dee then says. Seconds later, Edward and Gabrielle sneak up on the two and then push them into the water. Dee and Jessica re surface seconds later all wet and pissed. “Thanks a lot!” Dee says now getting you. “You bitch’s!” Jessica yells now getting out as well and then running for Edward and Gabrielle. Dee joins in then, and all four spend the rest of the hour running around after each other.

Sam’s Woods, 9:30 am:

Everyone just got back to the camp. Then Edward cooks them up some eggs and bacon on one the pans he brought that’s above the nice fire Gabrielle surprisingly put on. They all then eat and talk about what their going to do today. Edward says they should go rock climbing, Dee says they should go swimming, (in warmer water then this morning’s swim) and Jessica agrees with Dee while Gabrielle wants to do both and go hiking for a while. After much planning and talk, they all agree that first they will rock climb, then go and have lunch and swim at a near by lake right next to the rock’s their going to climb. Rest, and then go hiking all the way up to the top of a small waterfall that’s placed right in the middle of the woods, and then head back to camp just before dark and have dinner and just rest for the rest of the night. With that all planed and done, the gang eat the rest of their food and then get their packs ready and filled with things that they will and might need, and then they head off to the rocks.

Sam’s Woods, 9:59 am:

They all just got to the huge wall that has tons of rocks on it. “Ok, I’m gonna go and tie our safety ropes to that big tree at the top, just in case one of us lose our footing and fall” Edward says now taking rope out of his pack. “Ok, we’ll get ready” Dee says as she and the other girls go into their packs and pull out their knee and elbows pads and hand guards and helmets. Then minutes later Edward comes running back down and then he puts on all of his safety gear and then he ties the safety ropes to the girls and then himself and then, after getting their good footing, they begin to rock climb.

Sam’s Woods, 10:35 am:

They just got down, and thankfully no one lost their footing and got hurt. They get their gear off, and then Edward gets their ropes and puts them back into his pack and then the four head off and walk for about five minutes till they find a very pretty lake. The girls then go off behind a bush to get changed into their swimsuits while Edward goes to the other side of the lake and goes behind a bush to change into his trunks. Then the four spend the rest of the morning swimming and playing around.

Then at noon they get out and have lunch and dry in the sun a bit. While they eat they talk about what rock climbing was like for each of them. “Dude I was scared as hell when that one rock almost went lose on me!” Dee says. “Haha yeah, they do that a lot” Edward says. “Seems that way. I almost lost my footing when we got to the top, damn rock suddenly broke off and nearly took me down with it!” Gabrielle says. “Don’t you love it when that happens?” Edward says laughing a little. “No, I don’t. So how long have you’ve been doing that insane thing?” Gabrielle says to Edward. “Um, about ten years now” Edward says thinking. “Wow! And how old are you again?” Dee says in wonder. “About Gabs age I think, seventeen” Edward then says. “You close, I’m sixteen. But still damn!” Gabrielle then says. “So wait, you’ve been climbing since you were….…SEVEN?!” Dee then says. “Yep, since I was a lad. But I didn’t just wake up one day and started climbing rocks like the ones was just did” Edward says laughing. “Well I hope not” Gabrielle and Dee says together. “Yeah, I started out with little walls with tiny rocks that only fit the size of my feet back then. Then as I got older, the rocks and wall’s got bigger” Edward says. They all laugh at that then, then suddenly Dee stands up and looks around the lake. “What’s up Dee?” Gabrielle asks her. “Where’s Jessica? I don’t think she’s here” Dee says looking worried now.
