July 21, 1969……This is for you Boz……
This was an Amazing day in History I watched along with 125 million Americans when those two Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin Jr. stepped on the Moon for the first time in history. What a sight to see, and to make it even more exciting for me was that I lived a couple of miles from Grummans in Bethpage Long Island where the Lunar Module was built. The Lem as we called it weighed 32,000 pounds and landed on the Moon’s Sea of Tranquility in a Pillow soft landing, my town was put on the map that day~
