Chances are there will be no extended debate between couples and friends this weekend about what new movie to see. But go ahead and check out a couple of trailers just to remove all reasonable doubt.

If Spider-Man 3 doesn't rout in the box-office standings, expect to see dozens of men and women in $2,000 suits in the Hollywood unemployment line.

Still, romantics do exist who prefer their entertainment with more marshmallow at the center.

An underdog contingent of lovers and gamblers will be taking their chances with Lucky You. A father-and-son drama set in the world of high-stakes card sharks, with Drew Berrymore as her standard daffy, dippy love interest, Lucky You promises great washes of sentiment and enough cardplay to satisfy the most obsessed ESPN fanatic.

Does anyone else notice that Drew Berrymore has begun to look just like Susan Sarandon? Like Susan Sarandon does now.
