At its launch in January of 1985, VH1 was positioned as the softer, more mature, dare we say "older skewing" sister network to young, brash super-successful upstart MTV. Luckily, that marketing direction didn't last long, and VH1 became the only place on TV for innovative programming such as The Surreal Life, Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School and The Rock Life.

	Do You Read? Posted by RockDeath 2 yrs 1 mo ago Yeah I know stupid question but I have noticed that sadly ALOT Of people don't read anymore. Just sit in front of the T.V. Okay so I want to know who reads and who doesn't, just to see if the art of reading is dead or not.
