The Black Keys

Two white guys plus one guitar and a drum kit are not supposed to be able to summon the multitude of rhythm and blues shades that swirl through the whip-smart dirt-bucket funk and roll of The Black Keys. Defying expectations comes naturally to this pair of Ohio roots seers. You can hear the hoodoo passing to a new generation on every release from The Big Come Up in 2002 to 2006's Magic Potion.
