Panic at the Disco

Inspired by a yearning to play music beyond Blink 182 covers, high school friends Panic at the Disco flexed their creative muscle and began creating pop-punk songs with theatrical motifs, which the band performed in and around Las Vegas hometown in the summer of 2005. Once Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz signed the group to Decaydance/ Fueled By Ramen, Panic's unconventional pop punk sound and extravagant live performances created an escalating frenzy. Their 2006 release, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, established Panic at the Disco as a forced to be reckoned with, and they followed it up with Pretty. Odd. in 2008.
