Iron Man

One of Marvel's classic super-heroes comes to life with one of the best character castings in years. Robert Downey Jr. stars as billionaire weapons designer Tony Stark -- who is forced to create a missile after being kidnapped in Afghanistan. However, he sets out to create a weapon for himself that ends up aiding his freedom from his captives. Thus the first stages of his advanced technological armor are born. With a robotic suit in place and new troubles at home, he sets out to take the mantle as Iron Man.

We've seen Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk garnering rave reviews and saving Marvel comics based films (we can now safely forget about the original Hulk movie with Eric Bana and try and release our bad memories of X3: The Last Stand). But in the next two weeks we're set to see a pair of eagerly anticipated superhero sequels release: On July 11th, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army hits theatres. On July 18th, The Dark Knight, the follow up to Batman Begins, releases. Which movie do you think is going to rock your summer the hardest?
