Britney Spears & Demi Lovato Confirmed as X Factor Judges Next Season!
Time to put the rumors to bed! Fox formally announced that the Queen of Pop Britney Spears and Disney star Demi Lovato would be taking the two open spots at the judges table for season 2 of the X Factor. After the exit of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger as judges on the debut season of the US version of X Factor, speculation on who would replace the singers swirled.
Spears, who has had seven number 1’s on the Billboard Pop Charts, said she was “ready to find the true star” at this morning’s Fox Advertisting presentation.
Lovato, who has had 4 songs in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, said she was “totally stoked” to represent her generation.
Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid will both return to the show to round out the panel of judges.
