While filming Suits, Meghan Markle lived part-time in Toronto, Canada. For nine months out of the year, she lived in a gorgeous two-story townhome fit for an actress.

For the next seven years filming the show nearby, the townhome served as a gorgeous bachelorette pad for the actress and her dogs, Guy and Bogart.

This Toronto townhouse is where Prince Harry used to come and visit the actress while they were dating. The two were set up on a blind date and the rest, as they say, is history!

He would visit Markle about twice a month because she was very busy working on Suits.

Interestingly enough, the two were very good at keeping their relationship a secret, even with Prince Harry walking in and out of the Toronto townhouse. But, one night, the royal received a call from an aide at Kensington Palace.

Their relationship had leaked to the tabloids. They were afraid reporters would swarm the actress's home within 24 hours.

The new couple really did not have time to plan. They had to figure it out fast because there were bound to be reporters flying in from Los Angeles and New York.

The last thing they wanted was for Markle's home to be plastered all over magazine covers and the internet. Thankfully, everything was figured out in time.

Before shutting down her blog, The Tig, Markle showed off her modern style, complete with abstract artwork, numerous floral arrangements, and, of course, her beloved dogs.

The Toronto townhome color pallet was a far cry from the gold and silver of Buckingham Palace, a place she would soon find herself.

In fact, the actress's former townhouse wound up selling for a whopping $1.6 million!

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a detached garage, a basement, and a private back exit, the contemporary townhome boasted a lot of space for the soon-to-be royal.

Of course, coming from the sunny state of California, Markle added some personal touches to remind her of home during the colder Toronto months.

The townhouse featured hardwood floors throughout, and plenty of lighting, giving the interior a nice warm glow. Markle probably loved the feeling during the snowy months in Toronto!

To give the space a "California beach bungalow vibe," Markle added splashed of color throughout, primarily in the art she decided to hang on the walls and the flowers.

The primary color scheme of the townhouse, though, stayed a subtle off-white with touches of beige and light pink. It was very calming and probably a great place to come home to after a long and tiring day on the set of Suits.

The actress's former closet is no joke. The very modern piece looks as though it was custom made for the duchess, with shiny white doors and no actual handles. With six panels, the interior of the closet surely held all of Markle's magnificent clothing and shoes in a royally organized fashion.

The actress made sure to make the open space her own, adding throw blankets on the couches and bed, old picture frames with some of her favorite pieces, and even coffee table books.

And, of course, her space would not have been complete without some of her favorite flowers in some of the rooms, peonies.

Starting in the front of the townhome, it is very picturesque and typical for the neighborhood of Seaton Village. While the inside is very modern, the outside featured a gray clapboard exterior, a charming baby blue door, and a tiny covered porch.

Honestly, it is hard to picture a member of the royal family living in such a quaint place.

The dining room is not far from the comfort of the sitting room. In fact, with the open layout, people could sit at the kitchen table if there was no more room on the couch and chairs.

It is literally the perfect place to host a small get-together with costars!

Speaking of the dining room. Markle very much showed her California style with the light gray driftwood-inspired chairs and table.

The abstract artwork taking up most of the wall is a great accent piece, giving the room a splash of color and beautifully complimenting the decorative vases on the table.

Moving on towards the back of the house, the kitchen is a stark contrast from the light gray color scheme of the dining room.

White cabinets and modern stainless steel appliances are nestled nicely along the side of one wall while a wooden hutch, complete with a pullout table for two, lines the other.

The kitchen also has a nice getaway to the backyard. While hosting people, it is a great location to have people congregate, as guests can grab chairs from the dining room to sit in the kitchen or venture outside for some fresh air.

Of course, Meghan required some outdoor space...

Whether she was playing fetch with her beloved dogs Guy and Bogart or hosting a BBQ with castmates, the backyard of the townhouse is spacious with a whole lot of trees and shrubbery.

The greenery surrounding the backyard is not the selling point, though. Located behind the massive flowerbed is a lovely sitting area, built for a cold night to curl up with a blanket and, perhaps, a royal prince.

The wooden benches are great during any season and have the potential to seat a solid group of people.

The guest bedroom might be very minimalist, but it is very cozy. With a twin-size bed and black and white color scheme, the style of the room is very much in line with the rest of Markle's former home.

The many throw pillows and blankets make it a great spot for a guest to lie down and rest for an evening!

The former actress's bathroom is right on point with the rest of the home. She opted for a gray marble sink on top of a pink countertop, a gray and white backsplash for the bathtub and walls, and a white curtain to put the whole look together.

It makes the bathroom look very clean, spacious, and modern.

Going down to the bottom floor, the Toronto townhouse features something Markle probably did not see in California -- a basement! And it is not just a basement; it is a very spacious, finished basement that would be perfect for hosting a party.

Complete with a gray carpet and walls, the basement also has a door leading to the backyard.
