Photo Of The French Dispatch Cast At Cannes Goes Viral For All The Right Reasons

The Cannes Film Festival is back and more exciting than ever after being canceled due to COVID-19 last year. One of the most talked-about moments from the glamorous annual festival this year is a photo taken of the cast of The French Dispatch, the latest film from director Wes Anderson.

In the now-viral photo, Timothée Chalamet, Anderson, Tilda Swinton, and Bill Murray are posed before a marina. Each of their outfits seems to reflect upon their distinctly unique personalities, from Chalamet's hipster jeans and shirt to Murray's laid-back and casual look.

Fans couldn't help but come up with some amazing memes, much like the Dolly Parton Challenge that swept the internet in 2020.

One of the most popular images, seen here, depicts the group as illustrations of the different generations. Others compared the stars to social media platforms: "Tiktok-LinkedIn-Instagram-Twitter." Another lists them as movies: "Mad Max, Road Warrior, Fury Road and Beyond Thunderdome."

The French Dispatch will be released in the United States on October 16, 2021.
