Coming out of the Disney Renaissance-era, Mulan is the story of a girl who wants nothing more than to bring honor to her family. But at what cost? Disney went ahead and did something new to their "live-action Disney movie" streak. The plot leans more towards the actual legend instead of the fictionalized version '90s kids fell in love with.

Unfortunately, this means no snarky Mushu or catchy show tunes. But that shouldn't sway you from going to see the film in theaters. A new twist to a popular tale never hurt anyone! The live-action version of Mulan comes to the big screen on March 27, 2020.
