‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Final Trailer Released

It's almost here! The release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is only two months away and, to get you even more excited than you already are, Disney has released the final trailer for the upcoming film.

The trailer features all of your favorite key characters including Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, and Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver. In a moving and emotional touch, it also features the late Carrie Fisher as the iconic General Leia. This touching moment was reportedly made possible thanks to unreleased footage from previous movies.

The upcoming film is the third and final film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, which is being helped by J.J. Abrams. Abrams says The Rise Of Skywalker will provide a "meaningful" end to the story.

"This is about bringing this thing to a close in a way that is emotional and meaningful and also satisfying in terms of actually answering [as many] questions as possible," Abrams from EW. "We went into this thing knowing it has to be an ending."

The film is highly anticipated and already breaking records at the box office. Ticket presales broke a record previously held by Avengers: Endgame. The Rise of Skywalker sold an estimated 45% more tickets in its first hour of presales than Endgame did earlier this year.

The movie is set to be released on December 20th, so even though it might seem early it's time to get your tickets if you want to avoid spoilers from opening night!
