Major Casting Changes For The Fall 2019 TV Season

One of the most crucial parts of creating a television show is making sure that the casting is absolutely perfect. It’s hard to imagine another person in the place of your favorite TV character, but sometimes that’s show business. Also, it’s important to both add and get rid of other characters to keep things moving and prevent the story from getting stale.

This upcoming fall 2019 TV season will be full of huge casting changes that have the possibility of making fans happy, upset, or confused. Check below if your favorite show will be experiencing a shake-up in casting.

There are many instances where a guest or recurring cast member earns their spot as a series regular, such as Steve Urkel on Family Matters or Kimmy Gibbler on Full House. Now, Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby) on Young Sheldon can be added to that list.

Following the immense success of The Big Bang Theory, the creator made a spin-off called Young Sheldon. It centers around a young version of Sheldon Cooper growing up in Texas. His mother often works with the comedic and wise Pastor Jeff. Before Hobby joined the cast he had parts in Boardwalk Empire, Hart of Dixie, and The Grinder.

Not all actors get the privilege of remaining on their shows during its entire run. This can happen for numerous reasons, such as contracts ending or an actor working on another project. Lori Loughlin’s reason was a bit different.

Earlier this year Loughlin, her husband, and other members of the Hollywood elite were caught up within the college admissions scandal. Loughlin specifically was shown paying a large sum of money for both of her daughters to be admitted into the University of Southern California (USC). Soon after it was revealed that she wouldn’t be returning as Aunt Becky in the final season of Fuller House.

Since she’s playing a real person Colman had to do extensive research to make sure she matched every physicality.

She has quite the acting range after appearing in almost 100 professional roles. Colman is probably most well-known for her Oscar-winning role as Queen Anne in The Favourite, but she’s also starred in projects such as Fleabag, The Lobster, and Broadchurch.
