Is Keanu Reeves Joining the ‘Fast and Furious’ Franchise?

Keanu Reeves has had a ton of iconic action movie roles, but there's one franchise he has yet to grace with his presence: Fast and Furious. However, that could all be changing if it's up to one of the writers for the films.

Hobbs & Shaw writer Chris Morgan has revealed that there have been discussions with The Matrix star about bringing him into the action franchise. Morgan said he has a "fervent desire" to give the 55-year-old actor a role in the Fast & Furious universe.

"I sat down with him and we're talking about. I wanted him to be in the Fast universe for a very long time," Morgan told Screen Rant. "My fervent desire is to bring him into this franchise for sure."

Dwayne Johnson, star of Hobbs & Shaw, has also said he has a desire to work with Reeves.

"I love Keanu. You know, Keanu's having this awesome time in his career," Johnson told MTV. "We talked about it. We said 'Hey dude, just somewhere down the line, let's do something for sure."

With about a million Fast & Furious movies out there, it'll be awesome to get a fresh face in the series, especially if they're as legendary as Keanu Reeves.
