Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover’ Makes Billboard 200 History

It's no surprise that mega pop star Taylor Swift is breaking records with her latest album "Lover". She is now tied with Beyoncé for a major Billboard 200 record.

Swift is now tied with Beyoncé for the most number 1 album debuts in a row for women. She's managed to have all six of her last albums land at the top of the Billboard album chart.

She also had the second-largest streaming week of all time by a woman, with only Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" album beating her. "Lover" was streamed a massive 226 million times in its first week, which is equal to 175,000 album sales.

Swift has also become the first woman to sell at least half a million albums in one week with six different albums. "Lover" sold 679,000 actual copies in its first week.
