Kim Kardashian’s Illness Is Revealed After Lupus Scare

Last week, Kim Kardashian West had a huge medical scare on the season 17 premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She revealed she had pain in her hands and was worried that she might have lupus.

During the episode, her doctor revealed she tested positive for lupus but she required further testing to see if it was a false-positive result. On September 15th's episode of the reality show, the beauty mogul shared her illness diagnosis with fans.

During the episode, Kim went for an ultrasound on her hands as that's the area of her body that was experiencing the most pain. Fortunately, her doctor revealed that she is not battling lupus after completing this further testing.

Instead, her condition is known as psoriatic arthritis, resulting from her psoriasis. She revealed she was "so relieved" to find out her health issues were not as severe as they could have been.

"The pain is going to come and go sometimes, but I can manage it," says Kim. "This isn't going to stop me."

She says she is on medication to help with the pain now and that she is "just rolling with it day by day."
