Gymnast Katelyn Ohashi Handstands Down The Red Carpet Like The Boss She Is

During the 2019 ESPY Awards, Katelyn Ohashi wowed everyone by doing a handstand in heels.

Right before graduating from UCLA, Katelyn an ESPY award for Best Viral Sports Moment and was nominated for Best Play. Earlier this year, the gymnast dazzled the internet with her flawless floor routine, which the judges gave a perfect score.

Katelyn didn't miss a beat on the red carpet in Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. After posing in her white lace jumpsuit, she took a couple of steps and flipped upside-down. She smiled for the camera while remaining inverted for pictures.

Before ESPY announced her win, Katelyn told PEOPLE that she never expected her routine to go viral, especially after she underwent double shoulder surgery six months ago. Even the now-Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris retweeted her performance.

"I would have never guessed I have, like, senators reposting me," Katelyn said. "It's just crazy and honoring."

Now that she's out of college, Katelyn aims to go on Dancing with the Stars and pursue her writing and photography projects.
