Festival Recap: Audiotistic Bay Area 2018

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending Insomniac’s Audiotistic Bay Area 2018… and it definitely lived up to all the hype, returning this time as a massive two-day festival!  Bringing the good vibes and beautiful Bay Area weather as the headliners joined together for cutting-edge sounds and unforgettable sets by the world’s top hip-hop and dance music artists – including a diverse roster of top names like KaskadeREZZ, and VIRTUAL SELF who had some epic performances. All in all, I couldn’t get enough of the serious house music grooves and the onslaught of bass.

Taking place at Shoreline Ampitheatre, the two stage festival featured most experiences you’d find at an Insomniac event. Art cars, drinks, water refill stations and food trucks.  It was also exciting to see the stunning Elektra art installation (originally debuted at EDC Las Vegas 2018) looming over the crowd and maintaining a sense of anonymity through it’s abstract form.  It’s vibrancy was there to represent that we all share a colorful human identity underneath our individual personals.  Needless to say, this festival was a success and needs to be on your radar!
