EXCLUSIVE: Antiwave Premiere New Track, “Agent Of Sleep”

Los Angeles indie/pop group, Antiwave, are about to become your new favorite band – mark our words!

You might recognize vocalist/songwriter Heather Baker as the guitarist for pop queen Bonnie McKee and rising artist NoMBe but Antiwave is where her heart lies. Mixing their influences of 80’s and 90’s sensibilities with a modern day electronic/pop vibe that’s undeniably catchy, this is one band you must keep on your radar this fall!

“I’d like to think my music harkens back to the genres that had the greatest influence on me as I was growing up in the 90’s including bands like the The Sneaker Pimps, Garbage and Goldfrapp,” shares Baker. “Antiwave gives me a purpose to continue adding to the genre that shaped the musician I am today in hopes of nurturing the scene I care about so deeply.”

We are excited to premiere Antiwave’s new track, “Agent Of Sleep” exclusively on Buzznet! About the track, Baker shared:

“The driven sound of ‘Agent of Sleep’ is about the two entities that inhabit my consciousness and I’m sure many others. The side of hope and reason and the side of defeat and death alongside the pseudo-fictional storyline of assisted suicide becoming a new-age antidepressant.”
