Starting 2017 With A BANG: Countdown Festival Recap
The New Year started out with a bang at Insomniac’s 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve event, Countdown! The event brought 75,000 fans together to bid farewell to 2016 at the beautifully transformed NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. For the first time ever, the widely celebrated event was expanded to two nights to ring in 2017. It’s safe to say this was the largest NYE celebration on the West Coast… featuring three monumental stages, over 60 eclectic dance music sensations, and countless interactive activities for attendees to enjoy. The night was set under a sea of neon-lit lanterns, shimmering lights, fire-spewing spires, a display of inspiring art installations and MORE! Some of the most influential artist performances of the event included sets by Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, Zedd, Alesso, NGHTMRE, Diplo, A-Trak, RL Grime, Lane 8, Billy Kenny, Zomboy, and Valentino Khan. If this is any indication on how 2017 is going to be, it’s definitely going to be an incredible year!
