5 Times Celebs Fooled Their Fans

Depending on how you feel about them, pranks can pretty much go either way. One thing I think we can all agree on is that there is nothing better than watching your favorite celebs fool their fans. It only makes us love them even more while they show off their goofy side. In honor of April Fools’ Day, we put together a list of some of the best pranks our faves have played on us! Let us know your favorites in the comments below!

1. Miley Cyrus Fools Fans on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Miley Cyrus did a fantastic job portraying an Australian reporter for Jimmy Kimmel Live‘s I Witness News segment last summer. How some people didn’t put two and two together is beyond me but this is pretty epic!

2. Ariana Grande Hair Makeover!

Ariana Grande fooled her fans with a pic on social media of her new blue hairdo! Naturally fans freaked out until the singer revealed she was just playing around with Photoshop. She’d rock the sh!t out of that color, though! Just sayin’.

3. Harry Styles Cuts His Prized Hair?!

Hair pranks seem to be all the rage. It seems like only yesterday when One Direction‘s Harry Styles hinted at cutting his luscious locks on Twitter. Fans freaked the eff out until Styles decided to delete the tweet. Imagine how much that would go for on eBay?

4. Tears For Fears / Kid Rock Collab – ‘Songs From The Electric Chair’

This one still makes me giggle. Back in 2014, 80’s duo, Tears For Fears, announced they’d be teaming up with Kid Rock to release an “electro-country” album titled, Songs From The Electric Chair – parodying their 1985 hit album, Songs From The Big Chair. I’m still trying to imagine what an album like that would entail.

5. Jessica Lowndes and Jon Lovitz…Engaged?!

This one sure had us saying, “Dafuq?!” 90210 star, Jessica Lowndes and Saturday Night Live alum, Jon Lovitz, posted a series of Instagram posts indicating that they were dating, despite their obvious 31-year age difference. News even broke that they were engaged earlier this week until Lowndes’ manager stated that it was all an early April Fools’ prank and an elaborate marketing stunt set to promote Jessica’s new remix video for “Deja Vu” – which, let’s be honest has Lana Del Rey written all over it. Never a dull moment in Hollywood.
