Zedd and Thank You X Use Fame To Help Fight Childhood Cancer

If you didn’t know who Zedd was from his EDM fame, he was definitely on your radar when he briefly dated Selena Gomez. While the two are no longer, Zedd’s career has continued to flourish as he’s toured the world performaing for thousands, and during his LA stop, made effort to use his platform of fame to bring awareness to Pablove, a charity whose work centers around fighting childhood cancer.

Zedd linked up with famed street artist Thank You X, who created a gorgeous backdrop for fans to take photos against, based around Zedd’s song, “Beautiful Now.”

“ThankYouX and I wanted to do something cool for the kids that includes a positive message. Everybody loves snapping pics and saving a memory of a night they love. So we wanted to design the backdrop for that memory.” Zedd said in a statement about the piece.

Thank You X elaborated on the planning that went into the piece. “Zedd and I wanted to create a concept that fans could interact with at his Staples Center show. I loved the thought of using lyrics from his single Beautiful Now, cause its such a positive song. We got a really good reaction from all of the fans lining up to take photos in front of it. The plan was always to auction the art after the show and donate 100% of proceeds to charity. Pablove happened to be a charity that Zedd and I both felt really connected to.”

Interested in having this in your home? Well, the piece is currently up for auction over at charitybuzz.com and is signed by Thank You X and Zedd. Helping charity and having amazing art hanging in your home? Sounds like a win no matter how you look at it.
