Listen: Panic! At The Disco Drops “Hallelujah”

It’s been almost two years since Panic! At The Disco fans have heard any new tunes, but thanks to a surprise premiere on LA radio station KROQ, the dry spell is over. The band dropped a brand new single “Hallelujah” and if the comments on YouTube are any indication, fans are freakin’ STOOOKED.

The song kicks off with Brendon Urie exclaiming “A moment you’ll never remember and night you’ll never forget” before launching in to a horn heavy, drum banging track full of Urie’s signature Panic! crooning and punctuating appropriate inflections. It’s easy to understand why fans are going ape sh*t over the song, but upon second listen, it’s kind of insane to hear how similar he sounds to Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump.

IMHO the song ends too quick and short, but props to Brendon for keeping the Panic! alive! Take the new track for a spin above.

Do you like “Hallelujah”?
