Britney Spears Recap #3 – SuperBowl, New Intimate Collection, Sushi W/ Daddy & More

Hello guys, and welcome to the new Britney Spears weekly recap. Let’s see what our Queen B did in this first week of February.

The first important appearance was at SuperBowl, has rumored back in the weeks. She had a honor place during the match, looking like a little girl on the grey carpet, reunited with old friends who shared with her SuperBowl Halftime stage back in 2001, not unfortunately I’m not talking about Justin Timberlake but Britney met Steven Tyler and kissed him on the cheek and posed for a selfie with him (but also with her new boyfriend Charlie).

And do you remember the rumor about the Superbowl commercial? Here it is 😉

But it seems Katy Perry who entertained the crowd during the Halftime had something rude to say against Britney, even though she didn’t say it in an explicit way… Read below:

In her recent interview with Elle magazine, Katy opens up about the extreme pressures of fame and the sense of urgency to stay on top.

“It is a hundred times harder a dream than the dream that I dreamt when I was nine,” she says. “You think you signed up for one thing, but you automatically sign up for a hundred others. And that is why you see people shaving their fucking heads.”

A clear reference to Britney’s infamous moment of weakness in 2007. Rude.

“You’ve got to name someone the villain, someone the princess, someone’s the mom [and] the dad type—you know there always have to be characters. As pop figures, we’re all characters. And the media uses that.”

When Britney quickly answered in this way when interview asked what’s she going to expect from Katy Perry that night: HERE

By the way, on Tuesday our favorite blondie come back to work. She was spotted by paparazzi leaving a gym in Calabasas and a dance studio (since on Wednesday she performed her first February show in Vegas, so yesterday night and tonight, stay tuned for the recap on this three shows tomorrow evening).

On February 4th before kicking off her Vegas show Britney had lunch with her dad at Honshu Sushi in Chatsworth.

Let’s talking about rumors, tabloid articles, sweet revelations and Britney’s social media life:

First of all The New Intimate Collection is on its way. Our gal shared with us two new shoots from her new Spring/Summer collection debuting next week, presenting us Elma and Elvira lines. Love both!

A sweet note of this blog goes to Britney’s boyfriend Charlie Ebersol. He confessed that the reason he and his gal pal compliment each other is because they’re both your regular ol’ homebodies. Crediting his powerhouse parents NBC exec Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James for his mighty wisdom on love, the TV producer explained that it’s crucial that “you’re centering back to home base and that’s the strongest magnet in your life.”

Honestly, the way that she treats people does make you look in the mirror and question how much you’re really giving to other people. Because she is a person who leads with her heart and treats people around her – who she knows and who she doesn’t know – better than you or I.”

As for one of their best date night so far, Ebersol said it involved just a simple cup of hot chocolate. You know where I’m going with this. “She just said, ‘Let’s just get hot chocolate and hang out.’ That was a perfect night for me,” he explained. “If that’s the rest of my life, then A) I will have emulated my parents, and B) I will be a very happy man.”

On Friday he had an interview at All Access Hollywood, listen with your eyes what he says about Britney in the videos below (in the second video, Britney’s part is around 6:17):

Last but definitely not least let’s talk about new music.

We are still waiting for new Britney’s song with Iggy Azalea and the cover includes into Giorgio Moroder’s new album.

The Australian rapper replied to a fan saying: “There are pretty epic plans underway for the song that’s all I’ll say.” Still cryptic but I’m sure it will SLAY!

And what about Moroder’s collab? The title of Britney’s cover on Moroder’s upcoming album, tentatively called “74 Is The New 24,” is on lockdown from record execs. Much like everything in Brit’s career, they want it a surprise – unlike her pop counterparts like Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus who share what they’re working on as they’re working on it. All we know from Moroder is the original is three decades old, and Britney’s idea.

“Britney came to my management company with the idea to do a particular song with me, which was interesting because usually it’s the other way, with the producer offering a song,” Moroder tells Rolling Stone. Although he won’t say what song she picked (“the record company doesn’t want me to tell you”), he offered some clues: “Let’s say it’s a song which came out about 30 years ago as an a cappella, just a voice. If you can figure out what it is, I didn’t tell you.”

Rolling Stone speculates “O Superman,” Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy” or the Flying Pickets’ cover of “Only You.” Some fans speculate it’s The Nylons’ “Happy Together.”

Moroder said previously her sound has “no effects, no nothing,” adding it sounds “really natural.”

“To my big surprise, acts like Sia or Britney were. . .” He pauses. “I was gone for 30 years, right? So I’m not somebody who has had a few hits a few years ago.”

Are you ready for Britney’s acapella cover?
