If you haven’t heard of pop/R&B goddess, BANKS, you’re about to become very familiar with her over the coming months. Her mysterious yet still approachable vibe radiates offline as well; as much as her music continues to buzz around the blogosphere, the LA native posted her personal phone number on her Facebook page to cultivate a friendlier approach to the usual artist/fan relationship. On the verge of releasing her highly anticipated debut album, Goddess, BANKS, like Lorde, has that fresh aura that keeps you intrigued. I only hope she’s as successful as her Grammy award-winning counterpart.
