Kawaiiland: Jessi Jae Joplin featured in LA Weekly
This past weekend my great friend Luna Lovebad and I attended the cutest event in the world, Kawaiiland. Featuring all things KAWAII (of course), the event was filled with fashion shows, art, music, booths, food, special appearances and much much more!! We got the chance to catch up with LA Weekly and discuss all things fashion, media and how they’re influenced by Japanese street fashion.
“I think that the way we dress is kind of the way we express ourselves and stand out and show who we are artistically and creatively,” says Joplin. “I think it’s important for us to be ourselves and be unapologetic about what we wear and be okay with standing out in the crowd.” Make sure to read the awesome article in its entirety HERE!
