Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice Plead Guilty to Fraud Charges in Court

As expected, the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to several mortgage and bankruptcy fraud charges on Tuesday, March 4. The two reportedly seemed collected during their court appearance, while pleading guilty to multiple counts of bankruptchy fraud, falling to pay taxes, and conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud. The Giudices are arranged to be sentenced on July 8, 2014 and Joe, an Italian citizen, could possibly face deportation.

The Bravo reality stars were charged in a 41-count indictment on several fraud and tax charges back in July. The couple will plead to many but not all 41 of the charges.

According to NBC New York, Joe faces 37 to 46 months in prison, while Teresa faces 21 to 27 months. The couples are parents to four daughters: Gia, 13, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5.

In a statement on Tuesday, Teresa stated, ” I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family — especillay my four young daughters, who mean more than anything in the world.”
