in the late seventies the punk era was born and so was one of the world greatest fashion collections.. Vivienne Westwood & Malcolm McLaren are the creators of the classic punk look from their bondage pants to their infamous printed tee’s. It all started back in 1971 when they rented the back of paradise garage off kings road. by 1974 the iconic giant pink padded letters that read SEX outside the store front announced the arrival of a new period. in 1977, the king of punk Johnny Rotten creates the “punk suit” & makes the bondage look one of the key statements of their generation ..
