Super Bowl 2014: Best Apps For Watching The Game

With Super Bowl Sunday just around the corner- here are my top picks for apps that will keep you connected and in the game!

1. Free Super Bowl Streaming App for iPad

If you want to watch te Super Bowl on Feb 2nd, but can’t sit near a bit TV, Fox has you covered with a free English and Spanish “preview” access for anyone to stream Super Bowl XLVIII on its Fox Sports Go app, which is available on iPad.

Sadly, iPhone users won’t be able to access the stream due to an existing deal Verizon has struck with the NFL, allowing it to exclusively stream NFL games on its mobile network. Android users, you also appear to be out of luck. There isn’t a Fox Sports Go tablet app on the Google Play Store.

Users of the Fox Sports Pro app will have access to some pre-game and post-game content, and programming from the Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 channels. The preview will only last from 12:ooam ET on Sunday, Feb. 2, until 3:00am ET on Monday, Feb. 3. Those on Mac or Windows PCs can stream the game from FoxSportsGo.com.

2. Must-Have App for Super Bowl Team Stats

The Super Bowl XLVI Commemorative app is great for all you tablet users out there! The app includes each team’s road to Super Bowl XLVI, a breakdown of the game, written recaps and key stats, and bonus feature content like all-time, all-star teams and Super Bowl history. When the game is over, celebrate Super Bowl XLVI with official video highlights of the game as well as interviews, pictures, animated plays, stadium shots and much more.

3. Best App to Watch Super Bowl Commercials

I love the Super-Bowl Ads app! It’s a free app that is a must for Super Bowl commercial lovers! The app streams previews of the upcoming Super Bowl commercials as well as commercials from the past 15 years! It’s available on both iOS and Android devices. Woohoo!

4. Easiest App to order Super Bowl Pizza

The Dominos’s Pizza App is one of my favorite apps year round! With this app you have the ability to order from almost any Domino’s in the U.S. (Nearly 5,000 locations) and you have access to all the items on their national menu! That’s a big plus considering apps like Papa John’s don’t give you this option.

For the thrifty spenders, Domino’s also offers coupons on the app and it remembers your most store information. You are not required to login, but can do so if you want to used your saved payment info. If you’re completely neurotic- use Domino’s Tracker to follow your order from the making pizza process, to the oven, and even to the second it’s at your door!

Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday & let me know which app you’re gonna be rockin in the comment section below or by tweeting me here!
